Test results

Test results can be given to you by our helpful reception staff team.  They can be accessed by AskMyGP, or by phone.  Our team at reception will be able to inform you if your doctor or nurse are happy with your results, or if any further consultations or investigations are needed.

However you access your results, please allow 7 days from the test being taken to asking for your result, unless you have been advised to enquire sooner or after a longer time than this.  This allows the tests to be processed by the hospital, returned to Levenwick, and then for your doctor or nurse to review these results, and issue recommendations.

To ensure confidentiality, we only release results to the patient, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing.

AskMyGP method

If you want to request a message or phone call from reception about your results using AskMyGP, please just do a new request (as usual) with “results” in the title, and our team will reply to you as soon as possible, using your preferred contact method.

Phone Method

Since our telephones are very busy in the early morning, we ask you to telephone for test results (eg blood, urine, x-ray) please ring between 2pm and 4pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday), or 12 and 1pm on a Wednesday.
